Need help? In the app, open Settings → Write to us, or email sales@99francs.agency. When emailing, please include your device ID (Settings → Device ID → Copy), your phone model and iOS or Android version, and a short description. We usually reply within 2 business days.
A Shot is one processed photo. Standard quality uses 1 Shot; 2K uses 2 Shots. Every new install gets 3 free Shots to try ClearShot.
No. A Shot is deducted only after a result is delivered successfully. If a job fails, open the jobs list and tap Retry. It won't cost anything until it succeeds.
Shots from Shot packs (15, 50, 150) don't expire. The Pro allowance (25 per week on Weekly, 30 per month on Yearly) resets each period and doesn't roll over. The App uses subscription Shots first, then purchased Shots.
Very small, distant, or partly hidden people can be missed. Try again, use a slightly closer framing, or switch to 2K for fine detail. Results are AI-generated and can vary between attempts.
On the result screen, open the … menu and tap Report result. Pick a reason (offensive or inappropriate, changed people or faces, or another problem) and add a comment if you like. The report refers to that result so we can review it; the photo itself isn't attached. You can also write to us any time from Settings → Write to us (add your email if you'd like a reply). Works the same on iPhone and Android.
Not yet. Purchases through Google Play are coming soon. Until then, the Android app runs on your free Shots, and the Pro screen shows "Coming soon". Purchases made on iPhone are tied to that iPhone's device ID and don't carry over to Android automatically. If you need help, write to us.
A Shot allowance every period, all film looks (including Rangefinder, Noir and Cinematic) and 2K output. Weekly is $4.99/week with 25 Shots per week. Yearly is $39.99/year with 30 Shots per month and a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. US prices shown; local prices appear in the App. Pro is currently sold on iPhone through the App Store; Google Play purchases are coming soon.
iPhone: open iOS Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → ClearShot and tap Cancel Subscription. You can also do this from Settings in the App ("Manage subscription"). Cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends to avoid renewal. You keep Pro until the end of the paid period. To avoid being charged after a free trial, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Android: there are no subscriptions on Android yet. Once Google Play purchases launch, you'll manage them in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions.
iPhone: sign in with the same Apple ID, open ClearShot, and tap Restore Purchases on the paywall or in Settings. Active subscriptions are restored automatically. Purchased Shot packs are stored on our server against your old device ID. If they didn't come across, email us both device IDs (or your old device ID and the App Store receipt email) and we'll move them. Android: "Restore Purchases" is available only on iPhone for now, because Android purchases aren't available yet.
All payments are handled by the app store, so we can't issue refunds ourselves. On iPhone, request one at reportaproblem.apple.com: sign in, find the ClearShot purchase, and choose "Request a refund". Once Google Play purchases launch on Android, refunds will go through Google Play. Shots or Pro access from refunded purchases are removed.
People are detected on your phone. When you process a photo, it's sent securely to our server and our AI provider (Google Gemini via OpenRouter) to create the result. Uploaded photos and results are deleted automatically within 30 days and are never used to train AI models. No account, no ads, no tracking. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
In the app, open Settings → Delete my data (iPhone and Android). It opens an email to us with your device ID filled in; if no mail app is set up, the device ID is copied so you can paste it. Or email sales@99francs.agency with the subject "Data deletion" and your device ID (Settings → Device ID → Copy). We'll delete your photos, jobs and device records within 30 days, except purchase records we must keep by law. Deleting the App removes your on-device gallery.
Processing needs an internet connection and usually takes 10–60 seconds (2K can take longer). Keep the App open or in the background on a stable connection. If a job shows an error, tap Retry in the jobs list.
iPhone: check iOS Settings → ClearShot and allow Camera access, and Photos access (at least "Add Photos Only") so results can be saved. Android: open Settings → Apps → ClearShot → Permissions and allow Camera (on Android 8–9, also allow storage so results can be saved). Make sure no other app is using the camera.
ClearShot is available in English, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Ukrainian and Simplified Chinese, and follows your phone's language by default. iPhone: open ClearShot Settings → Language, which takes you to iOS Settings → ClearShot → Language. Android: open ClearShot Settings → Language. On Android 13 and later this opens the system's per-app language screen; on older versions you pick the language in the app.
